This tidy little box is the centre of operations for my entire home network. It hosts the webserver which serves you these webpages, it acts as my gateway and router/firewall appliance, and it hosts several of my open source projects repositories which are listed on this site. This system was a good bargain on ebay but came without the disk drive and RAM, which i had to buy seperately. As i am completely anal about the uptime of my machines, this server and my desktop are both plugged into a 750Va Leibert UPS which should help those uptimes last a little longer, as well as preventing power spikes from releasing 'magic blue smoke' from my components.
